"It's the art,
stupid."
That's my slogan.
Making good Art requires
a certain stance, an approach to working that seeks to find meaning and
express it, that attempts to manifest the unseen, to make the unreal real.
It is a process that
demands a product and hopes for an audience, between whom it can forge
an intimate and meaningful link.
I believe we all collaborate
in every moment to create the world we will share in the next. I believe
we should all approach this profound act of creation from this artistic
stance.
The commnuity at Burning
Man owes its existance to the artistic stance. The man, the layout of
the city, even the org itself, have all been approached from this artistic
stance, and that is what makes it all special, unique and precious.
(So much for my artsy
fartsy philosophy that got me mixed
up in all this shit)
